Wolfen is Burning Beast robo that appears in Custom Robo V2 and Custom Robo Arena. In both of its appearances, it was a Speed Style robo. Its primary commanders are Rouga in V2 and Hunter in Arena.

How to obtainEdit

The best thing about this robo is its ability to use close or long-range guns. Use that to your advantage with the Sniper Gun or Needle Gun for long-range and the Magnum or Shotgun for close. Of course, its reduced lag after dashes helps you to get off gun shots even more easily.

Designed to counter aerial sets. Go to mid-range and trap the enemy with all your weapons. For the gun, use the Air Shot or the Quick Air Shot. Much more effective when there is an obstacle between you and your opponent.

Spread the pods around behind walls, then use the long jump and airdash to approach. Fire the gun at close range, then the bomb and finish with a charge. Even more damaging on a lava stage.

  • Wolfen is named after and based on the creatures of the same name from the novel The Wolfen.
    • The Wolfen are similar to Werewolves. However, the Wolfen were descendents of wolves while Werewolves are humans that can take the form of a wolf.
    • Both of these mythical creatures (as well as Wolfen the robo) are also based on the actual Wolf.
  • Wolfen was Bipedal in V2, but was inexplicably changed to move around on all fours in Arena.
    • This was likely done in order to make all 3 Burning Beast robos in Arena (Leon, Wolfen, and Tricerion) use the same animations (either to save space on the DS cartridge or to not give one an advantage over the other in movement).
