[edit] Rahu I
Rahu I is Rahu's base form. Out of all of the forms, it is the weakest, but that is an understatement; it is still not to be taken lightly.
[edit] Recommendations
The best way to use Rahu I is to play like a Lightning Sky model. The best gun to use with Rahu is either the Raptor or Eagle gun, though its normal gun is very effective too.
[edit] Rahu II
Rahu II is basically an upgraded Rahu I. All of its stats are higher. It is the second "form" Rahu takes over the course of the game.
[edit] Recommendations
Rahu II is basically a more effective version of Rahu I. Thus, it can be used in basically the same matter.
[edit] Rahu III
Rahu III is a more powerful but slower version of Rahu II. Although the most powerful, it is also the slowest version of Rahu. It is the third and final "form" taken on by Rahu over the course of the game.
[edit] Recommendations
Rahu III is the best out of its three forms in everything except its charge and ground speed. It isn't as mobile as its other two forms, and its charge is slower that Rahu II's brutal ramming attack. However, the charge allows Rahu to get higher in the air then if it did a jump. Rahu III is also outfitted with a second long-range air-dash which allows it to more than make up for its lack of groundspeed. Both of its air-dashes also lift him up a little. The Rahu III gun emits enormous rounds after it explodes, usually enough to cover all stages except Gigantix Sprawl. Penumbra III Pods are the fastest of the three, emit blasts similar to those of the Grand Cross bomb, and can launch three pods at a time. Rahu III is truly the king of custom robos!
[edit] Rahu (Character)
Rahu is also the main antagonist during the New Journey.
[edit] Backstory
Rahu was an invisible entity that had only two goals; destroy and evolve. However, for some reason it combined with a custom robo, which at the time was a child's toy. Why it stayed in this visible form is unknown; the best theory, as Harry said, was, "So it's kinda like it dived but got stuck". Thus, the government began to develop more advanced custom robos to fight Rahu. Despite their best efforts, Rahu left most of the Earth uninhabitable. Eventually, the government created a memory erasure device which erased Rahu's "genetic memory," stopping it from evolving but not defeating it for good.
[edit] Role in Custom Robo
During the course of the game, Rahu is encountered 4 times; the first time is in Bogey's gambling room, the second at Daimon's, the third when fighting Oboro for the last time, and the last time is the final fight in the game. The encounter at Daimon's didn't actually lead to a fight; Evil beat it before you got a chance to find it. Technically, there is another fight with it to get a Class-s Liscense, but that is only a simulation. There is also a near-encounter with Rahu at Daimon's, but by the time the Hero got there Rahu had already fled after killing someone. The Hero finally defeats Rahu by using the memory erasure device on it then defeating in combat, with the help of Harry and Marcia. This lead to the final defeat of Rahu, though if it may come back or not is left unknown at the end of the game.
