Though the Geo Trap Bomb is fast and can be used for strong direct attacks, it is undoubtedly one of the best for blocking. Good use with this bomb, a homing pod, and a fast gun round is lethal.
Use
The Geo Trap Bomb is best used for blocking and not as a direct attack (the blast though large expands slowly thus easy to dodge with a jump or walking away). Launch the bomb in front of your opponent or predict where they plan on going or simply block a possible flanking position. For aerial foes count the number of jumps they have used up and predict where they'll land and launch your bomb there.
Placement on one side of a corner is very advantageous.
Defense
Stay away from the edges of the stage; they're easy places to get trapped. Keep close to the enemy because the bomb misses easily at close range.
