The Eagle Gun is a gun that appeared in every 3D Custom Robo title ever since Custom Robo (Nintendo 64). It is very useful in conjunction with jumping or flying robos. From the ground, it shoots an eagle-shaped projectile straight at the opponent with a fairly slow rate of fire. In the air, it creates an eagle that pauses for a moment and then homes in on your opponent.
In Custom Robo GX, it is replaced with the Eagle Cutter and the military upgrade ARS-G02.
Use
You should try to fly around, constantly firing it, as it will spam your opponent. It is best to fire the air shots high so that the opponent is under pressure from above and around.
Though jumpers may find it easy to produce a column of vertical shots, it is much more useful to flit around and spread the eagles horizontally.
The Eagle Gun is much better suited for constant, sustained pressure--rather than combos.
Defense
Stay behind walls, or rotate quickly around the rounds so that the Eagles' homing is affected, and they hit where you were a moment ago.
